Her leadership prowess has been demonstrated in her successful management of a factory and a business development organization within the technology industry.

She has led teams across North America, Europe, and Asia, and has embarked on two international assignments in Mexico and Spain. Ms. Verdugo's leadership extends to multi-layered organizations, technical talent, and women worldwide.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Orietta is deeply committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. She understand the critical role that fostering inclusion plays in driving global innovation and solving the world's most pressing problems. To this end, she actively works with organizations to promote, educate, and advance women and underrepresented communities in STEM fields. As a dedicated servant leader, Orietta serves on the boards of non-profit organizations, striving to drive a positive impact on the world.
Orietta has been the recipient of numerous industry awards for her work, including the Society of Women Engineering Emerging Leader Award, the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility Young Achievers Corporate Award, and the Univision Phoenix 40 Hispanic Leaders under 40. Remarkably, she was also the youngest person to be inducted into her high school's Hall of Fame. Orietta has been featured on SciGirls an Emmy award-winning PBS Kids television show. Orietta holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, as well as an MBA and MS in Engineering Systems from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Orietta is a passionate world traveler, always ready for life's next adventure and the unique lessons it brings. She makes her home in Arizona, where she shares her life with her husband—a neuroscientist and research professor—their two young children, and beloved dogs.
